Sarina Bowen What a great question! The answer is...probably not. I don't think K.U. pays for rereads. But don't let that stop you! Any time a reader uses legal means to enjoy a book, a bookish fairy gets its wings. (Or something.) Enjoy your reread guilt free!
And if you really want to buy that writer a cup of coffee, you can always purchase a copy of the ebook, the paperback, or the audio.
Happy reading!
Sarina Bowen Yes! Julian Matteo Rossi's book is Good as Gold (Giltmaker #1.) The Rossi brother with two names is a great read, too! 🔥
Sarina Bowen Guess what? There is a third book coming in the Hockey Guys series! See: https://sarinabowen.com/hockey-guys
Sarina Bowen LOL! I love this question to pieces. (Great song, too!)
The bad news: not exactly
The good news: I'm writing a New York based hockey romance right this second! And you will squeal when you hear what it is, because it's that much fun.
Love,
Sarina
Sarina Bowen In 2024, this is a loaded question. This book contains: a hunky army vet with secrets, a single mom trying to do her best, dark secrets and a murderer or two. It contains snarky characters, queer characters and a 4yo boy who loves the Toy Story movies. It is neither darker nor edgier nor steamier than most mainstream thrillers and romances. If it were a movie, it would probably be PG, or maybe PG13.
But in the midst of a book banning epidemic, where Christina Lauren and Colleen Hoover and being yanked from shelves for writing about real life, it's impossible to say what any one person considers appropriate. If you've got the book in hand, and you find the material doesn't work for you, feel free to close it and donate it to the nearest library.
The likeliest harm from this particular book, however, is loss of sleep. You probably won't be able to close it until you find out what really happened to Drew...
Sarina Bowen There will not be another Him book. But you should take a look at THE NEW GUY and I'M YOUR GUY if you need a new read. ;)
Sarina Bowen Not yet! I got a little stuck on their story. So it's still in development. But thank you for asking!
Sarina Bowen Wow, I'm so glad you enjoyed them all! The second season of V&V is called In Vino Veritas, and it kicks off with Wildfire by Garrett Leigh.
How did it happen? Well, in 2020 I invited authors to register their interest to write in the True North World. I hired a lovely content editor to do the real continuity work, and we quickly received 250 applications.
Meanwhile, I posted some descriptive materials--photos and ideas about each series. Hopes and dreams.
From there, we invited a hundred authors to submit a brief story proposal. Then we read them all multiple times and made notes.
My series coordinator then "green-lit" the group of stories that fit together the best. But it was the authors who put in the time to speak to their series colleagues and really get those details down.
Thanks for taking the time to read them! We are so grateful.
Sarina Bowen Greetings! Yes, "Do Over" is a short story for Castro and Heidi Jo. There are actually two ways to enjoy it!
1. It's part of the Brooklyn Bruisers Bonus Material, from the bonus page right here: https://sarinabowen.com/bonus
2. It's available as a free audio narrated by Jason Clarke right here: https://mysoundwise.com/publishers/15...
Sarina Bowen I love these characters, but there will not be another novel devoted to them. They do, however, appear in Hello Forever!
Sarina Bowen Yes! Roommate is basically book 0 in the Vino & Veritas series. If you enjoyed Roommate, you would also enjoy Featherbed, Heartscape, etc.
Furthermore, Kieran Shipley is a cousin to Griff in Bittersweet, and to May in Speakeasy... etc.
