I'm currently creating new mixed media fine art collages (handmade paper) for an upcoming gallery exhibit. I'm also working on several specially commissioned artworks (arranged by one of my art galleries). In my spare time (Ha!) I've been working on 2 new books: one is a collection of my sketchbook pages from trips to the Oregon Coast, the other is the "rest of the story" behind my currently available ebook "Dr. Bob's Emotional Repair Program First Aid Kit" - the new book is titled "The Artist and the Psychiatrist". Pages from both of these new book projects are posted on my blog www.sueclancy.com - and so are some of my artworks.

"Dr. Bob's Emotional Repair Program First Aid Kit" came about because of my desire to put-into-one-place some of the stories and concepts that Dr. Bob Hoke had shared with me during our lunch meetings. It also became a book Dr. Bob shared with his psychiatric patients; because it has all of his professional self-help ideas in one place, it is humorous and it is fairly short, thus making it more likely that his patients would read it and find it helpful. Dr. Bob called this book his "most powerful medicine".
"Coffee, Table, Book" was created as a part of a series of one person fine art exhibits - people attending my exhibits ask me about what inspires me as an artist so I got the idea to collect some of my sketchbook pages and publish them as an ebook so people could see for themselves what inspires my fine art.
