Clearly the fact that I don't remember any dreams, not ever, or seem to even recall that I dream at all. My current hypothesis is that I actually do dream, but have a very hard time distinguishing between dreams and memories, which would also partly explain my terrible memory.

I either succumb entirely to it and take a rest from writing, or force my way through by writing non-stop, starting over, ending up with a bunch of nonsense and then get seriously on it.
