I don't really have an answer for that. Idea's just come to me. Some of them are inspired by current events, relationships, etc. I don't really sit down and think "OK, what story do I want to write next?" I wait for the story to present itself to me.

I'm on the second draft of a dramedy/life affirming piece about a twenty something that heads off to Europe and gets more of an adventure than she bargained for. I am also in the beginning stages of a very deep and emotional piece that is sometimes uncomfortable for even me to write.

Technically, I'm still an aspiring writer as well. I always say don't give up, don't compare yourself to someone else. If this makes you feel good, keep doing it.

I turn on good music for one! But the best advice I have for writers black, is to go back a few chapters and read what you last wrote. It often helps you get back on track!
