Mobi D'Ark There are no standout fictional couples amongst my favorite authors that immediately spring to mind. I am not into detective or romantic genres where such couples may abound.

So I'm going to be cheeky and say that my favorite couple is Perry and Sunny from my own novel, "Madju-Raj: The Messenger of Death".

These two - an Englishman, and a Thai woman - live in a little village in England, and team up to solve a murder in a nearby village and save a Thai woman who stands accused of the crime.

Their adventures take them from England to Thailand, and back again, and there is no lack of romance along the way between these two unusual and diverse characters from different cultural backgrounds. They are the classic fictional couple. (IMHO....)
Mobi D'Ark "AZZY" - my most recent book, will be published on 16th November.

"Azzy" is the first in a series of six books, devoted to the "Six Wives of Mobi D'Ark."

The idea for this series came a friend who attends a small writing group with me in Pattaya Thailand. After being a fan of my blog and my books for several years, he suggested that get a bit more 'commercial' and tell the world about my adventures, with my six wives taking centre stage.

I decided it was a wonderful idea and if successful, it will keep me going for the next six years.

My earlier book "A Lust for Life", dealt with my life in one long book. The new series of six books will drill down into more detail and will concentrate on the more 'interesting' aspects of my life, including the arrival and departure of five wives, plus countless 'liff-hanging' adventures.
Mobi D'Ark I have always wanted to write - ever since I was a young boy and I still have some examples of my work from my teenage years.

Unfortunately the need to get a 'proper' job put my writing aspirations to one side and it is only since 2000, when I retired, that I was able to go back to my first love, writing.

Getting inspiration is not difficult. I have led such a wild and adventurous life in so many countries that I could probably write dozens of books based on my personal experiences without running out of material.
Mobi D'Ark I am spending a lot of time trying to drum up interest on social media for my latest novel:

"The Six Wives of Mobi D'Ark: Book One; AZZY".

"Azzy" is the first in a series of six books and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon-Kindle and will be published on 16th November.

Shortly after the launch, there will be a five -day free period where customers can buy the book free of charge.

I am also working on a paperback version of the book on Amazon which I hope to make available around the same time as the eBook is published. I am currently awaiting delivery of the draft proof from the printers in the USA

I have also made a start on the second book in the series - as yet unnamed - which will be set partly in the Arabian Gulf and then moves to Indonesia. The first draft chapter has been written but still needs substantial work.
Mobi D'Ark Writing keeps me totally engrossed in something I love to do. Once I sit down at my keyboard and start to write, all my cares and woes seem to vanish and I am in a world of my own.
Mobi D'Ark I never really get writer's block.

Occasionally, I might feel a little stuck on how to proceed with the next chapter, (or whatever), and when this happens, I simply force myself to write anything - even though I know it is not very good quality. Within a very short while, I am back in the 'groove' and the 'real' writing starts to flow.

Quite often I have to go back and re-write or edit the first few sentences but the key thing is that I have got over my impasse. I should add that this doesn't happen very often.

I also write a weekly blog of up to 5,000 words and this helps with the discipline of 'writing on demand'.
