I've been a Johnny Cash fan since I was 7 or 8 years old. Since that time I've listened to him, read about him, researched his music, etc. There have been a number of books written on Cash's life, but there wasn't anything about the music he created. That's where I decided to put my focus. It seemed fitting to write a book examining all of the albums he released over his lifetime.
