I actually spend a fair amount of time thinking. Just . . . sitting and asking 'what if?' That in turn gives me an idea and the idea sends me to the computer.
In terms of what keeps me writing, well I have two children. I want to be the best I can for them and, frankly put, I'm not all that cheerful person unless I'm writing something. That's inspiration enough.

My other half actually, also known as 'The Funk Master.'
He challenged me to write about the 'normal' and 'mundane' aspects of a BDSM relationship. Given the popularity of Fifty Shades I didn't think I could do it, but the Slippers & Chains books that have come from that challenge are some of my absolute favourites. ^_^

Second Base. This is the second Slippers & Chains story featuring Karen Owusu and Dan Scotney (the first is Sugar Dust). I've just had it back from beta readers so I'm really excited about polishing it up ready to release before the end of the year.

I write through it. I know that's probably an annoying answer, but that's it! After piling my desk with a suitable supply of cider, chocolate, crisps and Haribo, I put on my favourite 'writing tunez' and refuse to move until I have something down. Even if it's crap, it's better than nothing. Remember . . . even 'crap' can be edited.
