Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Kris Powers Believe it or not: The Borg! I thought those tubules they use to assimilate people were interesting and then got the idea of people using tiny, glass ones to invade other people's minds. From there the idea involved into a full book called Dreaming Under an Electric Moon.

Kris Powers I'd have to say dealing with my mother's mental illness and its effects on our family.

Kris Powers I recently finished putting together the Star Lore Encyclopedia which took 3 years to do. Right now I'm in the middle of writing the first novel in this new science-fantasy universe.
