It's an anthology comprised of a dozen or so short stories, with a common thread about how things can go wrong in a hurry, and the aftermath of those things gone wrong. I have four of the stories completed, and outlines and ideas for the rest. I hope to have it written by the end of July 2014, then get it Beta read and edited shortly thereafter. I'm over 15K words into it, and it should end up around 45K to 50K words long when finished.

The Freedom to write about whatever you feel like. No genre or subject is out of bounds, and making up the rules as you go along is not only allowed but encouraged.

Don't be afraid, and don't delay. I'm guilty of both and regret it. If you're young and know you want to be a writer, start now and keep going! Also, don't ever stop reading. You never know what will inspire a new idea, or give you a fresh view on an old one.

I don't really need inspiration to write, just time to do it. I've got a full-time job that isn't writing (hope to change that soon, though) so whenever I do get some spare time, I love to spend it either reading or writing.

It started out as a writing prompt for a short story on one of the Goodreads groups, actually. It's going to be an anthology of eleven or twelve short stories with a common plot thread throughout. I'm about a third of the way done with writing, over 15K words, and excited to get it finished!
