Joe Holt When I get writers block, I generally go to the beach to clear my mind. If the block persists, I read books. I read books alternating between one non-fiction and then one fiction that way my mind doesn't get stuck in one writing style.
Joe Holt Being a full time writer is a lifestyle choice. It is more consuming than a normal job where the hours are clearly defined. Plus being a writer can mess with your head. Seriously, try it. You submerge yourself into alternate realities so completely that at times you don't know which reality is the real one anymore.
