I don't really believe in writer's block. Or at least I don't want to believe in writer's block. But my mind does get tired. In those moments, I stop and do something else. My mind tells me when it's ready to write again. I think it's all about trusting yourself.

Usually, I go to my coffee shop in town and grab and iced coffee. Then I come home and put on a Kundalini Yoga chant. It helps me to focus and get into the writer zone.

I lived in Los Angeles for a long time. There were a ton of women who dated unavailable men, including myself. I wanted to write about that. I always loved Napa, so I thought it would be the perfect setting for Livvie and Drake to fall in love!
