Brigid Coady At the moment most of my writing is done on an iPad. It is perfect for writing on my commute. If I have to do any big structural changes I use my laptop. I have been known to write longhand if stuck in meetings... but don't tell my boss!
Brigid Coady The best thing is having a valid excuse to day dream. And watching lots of TV (it is 'research'). Actually that is the best thing, you can do anything you want because you just say it might come in handy for a book one day.

Brigid Coady I'm writing a book about truth and lying set in Breckenridge, Colorado... I'm hoping it will be another romcom but you can never tell till you get to the end.
Brigid Coady I had the idea for 'No One Wants to Be Miss Havisham' walking across St James Park in London. I was thinking about Dickens and it collided with the thought that I had a dreaded hen party coming up. BINGO! Suddenly I could see the ghosts in my head as clear as day.
