Susan Legrow As a young child, I vaguely remember standing and looking down the flight of stairs, in our two storey home at the time, and then standing on the floor at the bottom of those stairs, but I never recalled walking down those stairs. It always happened when I was alone. I'd long forgotten those incidents, but your question has resurfaced that memory. It would certainly be a great plot for a novel to try and explain those occurrences. Haunted house?
Susan Legrow Though not considered a "couple' as such, Meggie & Ralph from Colleen McCullough's Thorn Birds. Their characters show human frailty and weakness in times of adversity. They show forgiveness and compassion as they continue on from a forbidden love, through I believe that love between them remained throughout their entire lives. I have many special couples that I loved through all my years of reading, but those two always stood out in my mind.
Susan Legrow When I read other author's works, for one. I realize how much I enjoy writing myself. I've surprised myself, how much passion I have for writing.
