P.M. Pevato Likely something from my family's history. Prior to immigrating. C18th or C19th would be of interest as a plot.
P.M. Pevato I think it helps first to have an outline for your plot and mini synopsis for the chapter ideas.
Without the plot, you can't really start the story.
In your idea, this is what I understand:
- wolf turns into a girl
- teenage boy has no paranormal powers
- they don't like each other at first
- then "end up together"
- so what is the story? Plot?

Think about that. Pick up writing books and read about setting plots, character development, dialogue etc. That should help out.
Good luck!

P.M. Pevato Book II of the Firefly Series. I just had a short story published in an Anthology. The story is related to Firefly. It is called "The First Coven". Also, I'm working on a middle grade series and a mystery series, more fan fiction oriented.

P.M. Pevato Hi Shianna and sooo sorry for the delay in replying. Hmmm ... so you wish to start a book and right from the start, in the first two words, you know the main characters are enemies? If you can be more specific that would help out. However, just generally, it's better not to give everything away from the start. You want your readers to discover pieces of the plot, bit by bit ... but I can't honestly give you a specific answer. Can you give me an example of what you wish to write? Thanks!!! pmp
