Danielle E. Wedgeworth I do something else. If I can't resolve a scene sitting in front of my laptop, I go do something else, take a nap, or a bath, etc... Well developed characters generally write themselves if the story is set up properly. Sometimes just relaxing and thinking through the scene while doing something else makes the pieces fall into place.
Danielle E. Wedgeworth Self fulfillment is the thing I like the most. When I have a reader tell me that my story made them feel or think about one of my underlying themes, it totally makes my day.
Danielle E. Wedgeworth I would say two things are important when putting a novel out there. First and foremost, you can't produce a novel unless you start.

The second thing, is that you simply cannot edit enough. It is important to readers that your story provides them a good experience. We all make mistakes, but it is key to make those as minimal as possible.
Danielle E. Wedgeworth I am working on a science fiction novel about a desperate group of religious people escaping a totalitarian government to find freedom on a new world. The story is a twisted tale with hidden agendas by characters from beginning to end. Who can you trust when everything is at stake?
Danielle E. Wedgeworth I believe that regardless of the polarization in out society today, there is more that binds us together than separates. I wanted to reach readers at an emotional level about topics everyone can agree with.
Danielle E. Wedgeworth I write about what it means to be free and about the responsibility associated with such freedom. My current project is changing gears, moving towards Sci-Fi. I've always loved a good Sci-Fi story and I wanted to write story about a possibly hopeful future.
