Tim McGee Seasons was inspired by the need to tell a story about friendship from a male point of view. I wanted to write about how friendship can be a tenuous thing that requires devotion and patience. I also wanted to show how a strong family can help someone pull through even the most adverse of times.
Tim McGee Thinking about my journey, I realized at a mature age that the best thing I do is to write--I may not do it all that well, but it is the best thing I do. I think about years spent arriving at this conclusion and realize that time is very precious. The inspiration is simply to get on with it...
Tim McGee A follow up to Worthy McGuire, the second of three books involving the McGuire family. This book, working title Hamann's Breakout, is set in Wales near the end of WWII. It involves a German POW and a very dysfunctional Welsh family. It deals with stereotypes that are shattered, and choices made regarding family loyalties and personal freedom.

Tim McGee Making stuff up...I control the outcome, so the witty reply is always spot on in a story (contrary to real life where the witty reply dances just out of reach as I stand there looking very much like a village idiot...).
Tim McGee Go someplace public and people watch--they will always provide me with plenty of fodder for a story...
