If I could travel to any fictional world I would travel to Fantasia from the Neverending Story. I would do what every kid wanted to do who read the book or watched the movie...ride Falkor...if he let me...(laughs).

Hello! Thank you again for the question! Either platform is great with me. It would be awesome to see my novel on the big screen played by someone like Danai Gurira (throwing a name out there), but a TV series is also cool because you get to go more in-depth with the characters like in the novels. As long as it is done right and stays true to what the EVO Universe is, I would happily welcome it.

Thank you for both your love and support of the novels! The next EVO Universe novel titled “War of Mortal Gods” the first major story arch in “The First” and “Eye of Ra” storyline is currently in the works and will be out early to mid-summer of THIS year. So look out for it!

Hello Kevin,
First and foremost, thank you for reading the series and your support.
To answer your question, the next book is War of Mortal Gods (Eye of Ra Book 2), coming out next year. It will pick up where Genesis left off.
I am literally writing it and have several chapters almost completed.
To answer your very interesting question, it would depend on what type of EVO a vampire bit and what type of vampire bit the EVO.
In some lores a Vampire has to drain someone whole and the feed them their blood in order to turn them.
In stories like Blade and 30 Days of Night, the person turns just by being bitten.
Let’s say you’re talking about the Blade version. If they somehow managed to bite a Titan or Mercurian (Speedster Class EVO) the EVO will most likely be immune to the virus due to their regenerative healing.
On the other hand, the vampire that ingests EVO blood might be changed. It’s primary directive is survival and symbiotic occupation of whatever it comes in contact with. So the first thing it will most likely do is kill the vampire virus while replicating to take its place.
Now whether this will kill the vampire, turn it into an EVO, or a day walker (it’s possible), I’ll leave that to your imagination.
FYI- Drinking an Apollo Class EVO will most likely kill a Vampire as their blood cells are coursing with pure energy.

Greedy John Adams reached into a hole in an old oak tree on the outskirts of town where he saw a beggar stash a bag full a shillings.
He did not know that the shillings were an offering to a demon to buy back the beggar’s soul, and the tree was its home.

My favorite fictional couple would be Ryuuji Takasu and Taiga Aisaka from Toradora. The way they meet is extremely chaotic and hilarious. He runs into her in the hallway of their highschool because she's so small, and then makes the mistake of calling her the "Palmtop Tiger".
She ends up laying him out with one punch. She then sneaks into his house tries to bash his skull with a wooden kendo sword so that he won't remember that she accidently slipped a love letter meant for Yusaku Kitamura (her main crush in the story) into his book bag (the envelope is empty by the way).
After forging a truce to help each other acquire the love of the people they each have a crush on they slowly find out that who they truly wanted all along was each other.
I'm embarrassed to say the two incidents that literally brought me to tears was when Ryuuji almost drowned in the pool due to an accident, and is revived in enough time to see Taiga crying and screaming over him at the top of her lungs that he belongs to her. The second was after the Christmas party when she went home and was alone by herself and Ryuuji showed up in a Santa Bear suit to cheer her up. She sends him off to profess his love to Minori only to start crying and runs after Ryuuji realizing that she is in love with him.
Yeah, I know it's embarrassing ...I am a big softy and romantic. Sue me.

Yes a book three is in the works. Currently I am writing the Eye of Ra which as you know was a pivotal character in the second novel. I will be telling his origin story and how it ties into the other two books revealing possibly a lot of unanswered questions which will also build up to book 3. Eye of Ra will be coming out next year 2016. Book 3 I hope to write and have done by 2017.

For "The First EVO Uprising" I pulled a lot from current events around the world, conspiracy theories, and key parts in history. This is also a sequel to my first novel so I had to pull from that as well. Most of the characters for my novel I literally created via 3D imagining before I gave them a name, or a role in my novel. Poser Pro 2012 is the greatest!

I play! And I mean I play a lot! I play video games, I play with my action figures, I play around with my wife. I just play! Playing I believe feeds the imagination, that's why children play and should be encouraged to play. And I believe you are never to old to play. Playing keeps your mind active, and your youth intact. When you stop playing, you lose the power of imagination which is vital to writing. You HAVE to have an active imagination in order to write. So, I play!

I have just finished my second novel titled "The First EVO Uprising" which is the sequel to my first novel titled "The First". Currently it is in the Amazon Scouting program: https://kindlescout.amazon.com/p/2SDF...
Later this year I will be working on my next novel which is a spin-off from "The First" series titled "Eye of Ra".

1) Write from the heart, your best work is accomplished when you write from what is inside of you.
2) Get people to read your work before you submit it, be open to their opinion, but remember that the final say in your work is you.
3) GET A GOOD EDITOR, readers DO NOT like misspelled words, or a ton of errors. I learned that the hard way when I went cheap on an editor with my first novel.

Putting your imagination on paper for the world to see, and seeing the reaction. I remember when I finished my first novel, I sent it to a William Greenleaf to evaluate, and he told me in detail how much he liked it, and what he liked about it, I got real emotional while reading it because it validated that I should have worked on being a writer all along. The second rush was my first review from an actual reader and reading about how much they loved the book. Telling a story that resonates with readers and that they enjoy is the best thing to me about being a writer.

I tend to do other things when I have writer's block. I read, and work on my hobbies. I do action figure kitbashes. I made my own version of Batgirl (A Dark Knight version), Cammy White from Street Fighter, among others. I also do 3D digital artwork. I've created artwork of my characters from my novel which can be see on sites like Deviant Art. I find that it helps build my imagination, and allows me to see and build scenes and stories I would never have thought of.
