R. Arundel The Face Transplant was inspired by my work as a surgeon. Thinking about the effects of innovations in the field of Facial Plastic Surgery and how these would affect society at large were instrumental in creating this novel.
R. Arundel I love the process of writing. I don't really need to be inspired to write. It's a pleasure for me to take the time to work on my novels. I also enjoy reading great stories and trying to create stories that people enjoy reading.
R. Arundel A very exciting young adult novel set in a world much different that Earth. This novel is very suspenseful and thought provoking.

Write because you enjoy the process of writing, not because you think it will make you a celebrity. The vast majority of writers are unknown. That's not a bad thing, it gives you freedom to write what you please.
R. Arundel The ability to create stories and lose yourself in the story. Writing allows you to create a world exactly as you imagine it.
R. Arundel Take a break. If I have a block, I think it is time to rest and let my subconscious solve the problem. Usually something is not right and that is why I can't continue writing. Sometimes the problem is obvious, other times it is in the subconscious. I just step away and then when I am ready I start writing.
