Two Miles High and Six Feet Under is a sequel to Murder in the Rockies. Two miles high because the setting is in Leadville, Colorado a town that is situated at a little above 10,000 feet of elevation - two miles above sea level. The time is 1896, the year the citizens of the town built a gigantic building almost entirely of ice. Strange accidents keep happening and it is up to Andrew Coyle Esq. to find out if murder is involved.

It evolved from writing a Western to a courtroom drama to a mystery. In my research I found 1893 was an important year in Colorado history, many things took place that year. That was my springboard into a world that I learned to love.
