Carolyn E. Cook I've just finished my fourth novel, The Life and Times of Lilly Quinn, about a woman who lived through the era of the Old West, how the culture shaped her, as well as how she stood up to it. This one is in the finishing process, beta readers, proofreading, and getting that all-important cover. In between, I'm in the middle of Chapter Two of the next installment, bringing forward a peripheral character from Book One and continuing the saga through her.

Carolyn E. Cook I don't usually feel stuck like that. My goal is to write at least one or two pages every day, more if I'm on a roll. I always play great mood music, classical or movie soundtracks, and I just start typing. Once I have a sentence down, words begin to flow and I'm set.
