R.J. Redlynn I had always planned to do a follow up to Tales of Passion but wanted to connect the stories in some way.
R.J. Redlynn It's not me, it's the stories. When a story just has to be written, i don't have choice but to write it, you could say I'm compelled.
R.J. Redlynn I am currently working on a few projects namely the follow up (and 3rd book in the Vignettes series) to Bethany's Awakening. In addition to Bethany part 2, I'm also working on a collaborative effort with another author.
R.J. Redlynn I think the best thing is the freedom to write what I want to write and how I want to write it.
R.J. Redlynn I always say "let the story write itself" and plan. Planning is crucial and will make the writing so much easier. Also don't fall in love with your work and don't be afraid to scrap what you have and start over.
R.J. Redlynn When faced with writer's block I have a couple things I do. 1. I'll ask my wife or some of my fans and see what they think. 2. I leave the story alone for a while and work on something else. Letting your self recharge is important. I've gone a month without writing.
