R.J. Blain Yes. When is up for debate, but it will finish by the time the rest of the main series is done.
R.J. Blain Yes, there will be. I'm working on the next book in the series on the side, but no idea when it'll be finished.
R.J. Blain Honestly, it so varies by day of the week... I try to write the series that's the apple of my eye at the time I'm writing it, because it's more fun that way. But I'm writing everything I'm writing because it's, in some form or another, a favorite.

There are very few series I'm working on that I actively dislike. Although those do exist... ^^; but which ones I dislike is a secret.

Mag Rom Coms are generally happy making, so I'll pick those for the purpose of answering this question.
R.J. Blain It's worked on as time allows; it's a labor of love project because book 2 flopped, but it'll get done eventually, just around the books that pay the bills.
R.J. Blain Yes to both. Serial Killer Princess will be done in a Mag Rom Com anthology. I expect 2025 for Fox Witch #3. (I'm sure it has a title, and I might even remember it when I'm not this tired lol)
R.J. Blain I don't have an ETA, but I've started doing the groundwork so I can write book 3. These books will happen as I have time and ability around the books that pay the bills. (These are labors of love and aren't going to be paying the bills. Too few people liked book 1 enough to buy book 2, which means book 3 is going to be a money suck and not earn anything, so it will get worked on around the books that will pay the bills.)
R.J. Blain There will be two more books and an anthology.
R.J. Blain I haven't written the third one yet. At current, the series is planned to be a trilogy.
R.J. Blain Hmmm… good question! The librarian series was semi pilot style, testing a different tone and sub genre, so it tends to be a little different from my regular stuff.

If you like the humor elements, go to the magical romantic comedy series. If you like the darker elements, go to the Witch and Wolf books. If you like the mystery elements, skip over to the Fox Witch books!
R.J. Blain I believe you can download the audio files from Chirp. According to their FAQ, you can download for offline listening through the app and don't have to stream.

I don't even think I have a computer capable of burning CDs, truth be told, and a CD would have to be custom burned. (Most indie producers don't offer cds of the audios.)
R.J. Blain Yes, it will be. I am going to be writing the continuation of the story after I'm finished Plaidypus, so you can expect it sometime within the next year or so. (I need some time off due to just relentless workload, but it's on the docket.)
R.J. Blain There will be four total novels in that world plus an anthology. If there are any additional novels in that world, they'll be spinoff stories not featuring Jesse. (At least as a main character.)
R.J. Blain After Catnapped is Plaidypus, coming out in January. You can read Client from Hell, which is a spinoff series that takes place after Catnapped. If you like the Mag Rom Com humor but don't mind contemporary romance, you can check out my Bernadette Franklin novels.
R.J. Blain The second book (Dual Nature) is on the list for 2022/2023; just not sure how long it'll take me to write the books in front of it in line.
R.J. Blain It is in the Water Witch anthology. The stories were the first three Dustin Walker short stories.
R.J. Blain I'm definitely considering adding them into a future anthology for the series, but I don't know if they'll get novels.

The only reason I haven't written a second Shane and Marian novel is the lack of a solid story idea, and I won't write a book when I don't have a strong story idea for it.
R.J. Blain Basically... Luna was stupid. She was stupid, and had allowed herself to do things angels just shouldn't, which led her to lie. But mostly... she was stupid, and that's part of the tragedy.

No. She didn't have to lie... but she got 'caught in the moment' because she was stupid.

As for the demon, I'm leaving his motivations unrevealed, as I may use that as a consequence in another book.
