LOL I really have no secrets in my life. The closest thing to it would be the unknown ancestry of my dad's mother, Clara. She was part Cherokee Indian, but no one living knows how much and there were absolutely no records kept of her genealogy beyond her parents.

In general, Belle and Prince Adam (Beast) in all incarnations of Beauty and the Beast. That they learn to compromise and see beyond the outer facade of the other is simply beautiful and something that should be practiced by more people these days.
Of my own couples, Clarice 'Rissa' Daniels and Spencer St. George of The Artist's Touch epic romance. Even as I wrote them, they both surprised me often, especially in that they didn't let everything that was thrown at them stop them from seeing the other for who they really were.

Almost anything can inspire me. Everyday life is an amazing thing... even the most mundane things. Music is huge to keep the mojo flowing though.

Talk about a loaded question! I've always got multiple stories going. Right now, I've got a young reader's Fantasy book tentatively titled "Plover and the DragonStar"; a third book of the Crazy Mountain Series(due out next year); The Artist's Touch; In Angel's Arms; and several others rattling around in my head that I haven't even begun to put into a document yet.

Write what you enjoy, let the characters speak for themselves even if it isn't what you think it should be, and edit so thoroughly that you know the story better than yourself. Keep your writing tight and edit more.

Shy of Tomorrow started out as short story that evolved into a full length novel after I'd been asked "when are you going to finish this" enough times.
