The only thing I've written and brought to completion is my first novel, Stars In the Deep: Destiny. I've many story ideas occupying space on my hard drive, waiting for my attention.
I'm not really sure how I got inspired to write my novel, but all I know is, once I began, it was all I could do to stop and take a break.

WRITE! The more you write, even if it's just for yourself, the more comfortable it becomes. Write like you would converse with a friend. If that results in awkwardly worded passages, you might want to get some help with proper grammar.

I usually run into writer's block when I've been at it a while without a break. The best thing for me at such a time is to just get up and walk away. Come back later and see if things clear up.

I'm a science fiction nut. To one degree or another, so are my kids. Though they are all adults now, we still enjoy tossing ideas back and forth and coming up with 'what ifs.'

I'm working on a second novel... a sequel to the one I just had published in 2014.

So far, the best thing about being a writer is the act of creating; a world, a character... Sometimes there are so many things to imagine, it is all I can do to get it down on paper (or another medium).
