As for a sequel, I’ve purposely left it open for a fun and harrowing adventure in case there’s enough interest in the book for a follow-up series, which I hope there is. There’s a whole world outside Illryn that Grayden and Krowen have yet to explore, and I’ve got some ideas brewing. As disgusting as the necrophites are, they will have a bigger role in future books for sure. After all, flesh-eating zombies are one of the few creatures that could survive the Blind Mountains :)

Hi Amber!
I love almost all music genres. However, when choosing not to write in silence, I listen to classical. I've gathered a compilation of songs that are forlorn, epic, and dark. Invincible by Two Steps From Hell is great to listen to, but I love my classics like Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven or something like Toccata and Fugue by Bach, I believe. It's those moving pieces that really get me in the mood. I have a "writing" playlist that has all those and any more, or if I want something new I'll go to a classical station on Pandora.
