There are very few books I pass up. My favorites right now are The Enigma Series by Tierney James, The YA books by Shirley McCann and all books by Harlen Cobin, Ruth Ware ( I've read all of hers) and the Murder Club.

Write! If you don't have an idea, look at a picture and write what it represents to you. Also, read. If you don't read, you don't write. Make sure you write more than read though.

I am editing Finding Lizzy Smith. It is the first Kate Nash mystery. Writing a series is not for the faint of heart. One must keep all of the facts correct. I use what is called a "series bible".

I think for a day or two and then sit down and write until that thought is completely use. I sit back and wonder where this story is going and within a day, the idea continues in my head and I begin again.
