Mel Henry Household chores. Reading old notes that I've made about my current work-in-progress (or even past stories). Soaking in a bubble bath. Disappearing for a while into someone else's book. I haven't really found one singular way for me to overcome it, so I can't say that any way works any better for me than it would someone else. That's just what I do.

Mel Henry The best part about being a writer is creating an entire world of people who never existed before I invented them. If I want them happy, they're happy. If I want them sad, they're sad. If I want them in love, they're in love. I get to decide if there's a happy ending or not. It's wonderful!
