Richard B. Knight Sorry I'm just seeing this message. Thanks for the excellent review on Goodreads and Amazon. Yes, the life of a teacher isn't an easy one. I'm glad you also endured the struggle. In the end, the kids are much better for us being in the classroom. :) Thanks again!
Richard B. Knight I just write through it. I guess it's because I don't have any expectations when I write, so I'm never really bothered by it. I'm a very stream-of-consciousness kind of writer. I just let it flow.
Richard B. Knight I like that it allows me to talk to myself and nobody finds it crazy.
Richard B. Knight Pick a number of words to write every day and stick to it. Even if the words don't feel right, just let it flow. You're bound to get something good.
Richard B. Knight I am currently working on a sci-fi book called The Interdimensional Subwoofer. Like all of my books, it's really weird, but it has heart. A lot of it takes place in a frat house.
Richard B. Knight I don't really get inspired to write. I force myself to write everyday, and inspiration comes to me if I just keep pounding keys. I let my brain take over after awhile.
Richard B. Knight I usually get ideas just walking in the park. I originally got the idea for A Boy and His Corpse (That's my most recent book. The Darkness of the Womb came out before it) when I imagined what it would be like if I could control corpses with my mind. What would I do with that ability? Well, start an undead wrestling federation, of course! And that's where the concept came from. :D
