Sasha Cottman Hi Marcia, thanks so much for getting in touch. Francis is getting his story later this year. As soon as I have finished the new Rogues of the Road series, I will be working on new Duke of Strathmore books. Kind Regards Sasha
Sasha Cottman Hi Elaine, thanks so much for getting in touch I really appreciate it. The next book in the series has been in the works for awhile but career changes and health have forced me to put it on the back burner for a number of months. The good news is I am back writing and hope to have William's story out before the end of 2016.

Thanks for letting me know you enjoy the books, it makes the whole thing worthwhile when readers love them. Kind regards Sasha
Sasha Cottman An Unsuitable Match is the next book in the Duke of Strathmore series. It follows on from the events in Letter from a Rake (it is a standalone book, so you don't need to have read Letter from a Rake to understand what is happening). I wanted to write more from the heroine's point of view and Lady Clarice Langham presented me with that opportunity. I also wanted to write a villain and Thaxter Fox was great fun to write. He gives me the creeps and I invented him!
Sasha Cottman Um???!!!
Well the hero of my current WIP basically showed up in a clothing catalogue and demanded I write him. Very odd, but he is persistent. He turned up the morning after I had submitted my next release to my publisher, and he has been calling the shots since then.
Sasha Cottman When people ask if you are published and you say 'yes'. The look on their face is brilliant. Readers are a great part of being a writer, I have met some fantastic people who have read my books.
Sasha Cottman Have faith in your talent. Don't let anyone else try and tell you that you cannot write. Set aside time everyday to write. If you get a few words written, that's ok, your wordcount is still moving. Allow yourself to realise you have made mistakes and cut words (yes I know it hurts. Put them into another file in another folder, you may come back at another point and use them somewhere else). Keep going.
Sasha Cottman I am currently (Sept 2014) writing book 3 in the Duke of Strathmore series. This is Lucy Radley's story. I'm really enjoying the research as Lucy travels to Post Napoleon Paris.
Sasha Cottman I force myself to write every day, which I think helps to keep writer's block at bay. In the early days of my writing I would go for months and not touch my manuscript. Now I set daily, weekly and completed manuscript goals. Sometimes you have to sit and the keyboard and force your muse to work for you. I also find the answer to a plot problem will suddenly pop into my head (last night it was as I cleaned the kitchen bench, so I quickly made a note and then put the dishwasher on)/
