Right now I'm writing the sequel the "Jasper Lilla and the Wolves of Banner Elk"......Thw working title is "Jasper Lilla and the Escape from Asheville" but I'm considering moving it to Abingdon. I'm working on the ending now, which is a really fun writing time. After that comes the first edit, which is the least fun time.

There is an old legend amongst a Northern Indian tribe that says when the Creator saw the people were starving He sent the Caribou, then when a sickness threatened the Caribou He sent a cure. The cure was the wolf. Wolves are the natural police of many ecological systems and I began to wonder how might the way of the wolf help the human specie? With deer, fox, caribou and other species the wolf helps by eliminating the individuals that weaken the species, but with human the individuals that weaken the species are sometimes rewarded. Greed is an example. From that the "Wolves of Banner Elk" were born.
