Debbie Flint A spin off! Hawaiian Trilogy has a character called Kate - Helen's pal in New York - she discovers an old book in an attic and it gives her an idea about how to find a man. Really fun! I'll be incorporating some of the events into the timeline for Hawaiian Escape and Hawaiian Retreat too (books 1&3) - so if you read them you get a little insight into what will happen to Kate! She's even more feisty than Helen and Sadie too, so it should be a roller coaster!
Debbie Flint Hawaiian Retreat came out of an idea for a prequel for my first ever full length novel, Hawaiian Affair. I wrote that prequel (Hawaiian Escape) and whilst it was supposed to be just an intro to say what happened to Sadie before she met Mac, as I wrote it, Helen came tumbling out! It turned into a full length novel instead of an intro. Therefore we had to have Helen's story, and Hawaiian Retreat is the result. The Try it For The First Time club came from my weekly QVC UK blog, and melded with the plot wonderfully!
