Stephen Drivick If I knew I couldn't get hurt (or vaporized), I would like to see the Martian machines from "War of the Worlds" stomping around England.
Stephen Drivick The boss looked over my shoulder as my computer shuffled through my files. The search turned up, "Files Not Found."
Stephen Drivick "Into Africa" by Sam Manicom. It's a story of a epic motorcycle trip. It's been on my phone for what seems like forever. I am going to read it this summer. ")
Stephen Drivick A good mystery plot from my life is why do I keep losing things.

I turned 47 years old last month, but I don't think my mind is going...yet. Lately though, it seems I can't put something down without it vaporizing into thin air. The biggest culprit is pens. I buy them, use them for a bit, then they go away. I've armed my self with two cupfuls on my desk in case they all walk off into the sunset. :)
Stephen Drivick I always thought Rob and Laura Petrie from the "Dick Van Dyke Show" looked like a cool couple. They sang and danced in their living room, with the only problems being tripping over the occasional ottoman.
Stephen Drivick I think it's because zombies are so much like us. They used to be functioning, everyday people. Now, they are man-eating monsters still dressed in human clothes.

For me, it was a Halloween marathon of "The Walking Dead." My first book was going to have nuclear war as the means of destruction. Seeing all those zombies inspired me to change my mind. I brought out a notebook, and wrote down a few zombie descriptions and how to dispose of them. I made the change that night!
Stephen Drivick Being able to work your own hours is pretty cool. Also, not having a boss (except yourself) is neat as well.:)
Stephen Drivick It's the third part of my zombie apocalypse series, "Sometimes We Ran." This one is set about five years after the zombies came, and looks in on a group of survivors that have set up camp somewhere in Alabama.
Stephen Drivick It sounds weird, but usually I think a lot about the next scene for a while away from the computer. I may even jot a few notes down. Sometimes it takes a while for the idea to get to the front of my brain.:)
Stephen Drivick Write the story you want to write. If you have an idea of vampires vs. unicorns in a world destroyed by robots, go for it!. Someone is bound to read it.

Get a good editor. What you write may look like gold, but and good editor will make it so much better.:)
Stephen Drivick Get away from the computer. Believe it or not, going into another room may help jog something loose.
Stephen Drivick I am currently working on "Sometimes We Ran 3" ...the third part of my zombie apocalypse series.
