My young daughter grabbed my hand and holding tightly whispered 'mommy I hear the little girl calling my name again.' I found it odd to hear my mother's voice tell her, 'don't worry, mommy's coming.'

I sleep on it. It always works. Sometimes I actually wake up, grab my phone and hit record, whispering my thoughts into it hoping not to wake my husband. He doesn't feel the same affinity to my 'people' as I do.

If you are anything like me, there isn't anything that can dissuade you...nothing! So my advice, follow your heart, and do what makes you happy. Even if you never become a big best selling author, you did what YOU wanted and that is what is important.
