How do you deal with writer’s block?

Judith A. Yates I do something else. If I'm blocked then that's the universe telling me, "not today."

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Judith A. Yates Never never never never pay ANYONE to print your book.
Spend your money on an Editor. A GOOD one, not your cousin who calls herself a "grammar nazi." I have an amazing editor who goes above and beyond.
Pay someone to have it formatter properly. I have the BEST person and love his work.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Judith A. Yates Writing nonfiction crime, I meet some of the most amazing people who are survivors and first responders, crime fighters and crime stoppers. I love every family I have worked with.
