Walk away, put it out of your mind. As a programmer I would come up with a design problem that seemed to be unsolvable. You'd be surprised at how often the answer came to me while I was working on something else. As a writer the dam usually breaks just as I'm falling asleep; my muse is calling, so much for a good nights rest.
