I do something else when I am blocked: I design my website, look for photos to make my collages, or I design and create my video's about the books etc. I just work around the books until I get new ideas.

I love putting myself behind my desk and write, think of what I want to narrate and write again. It is a very independant life, if you can afford it.

It is not important to have the whole story idea ready, but it is easier to have a plan. For the rest: a book only gets written when you work hard. Don't expect miracles and be precise.

Novel 9 in the Regency Romantic Warriors series, which will be the final novel.
I am also working on the translation of the whole series in Dutch. (Romantische Helden series) I am now working on the translation of Novel 5: A Mercenary Major, the Blessing of Marriage.(= Een Bruid voor de Majoor deel 2: Huwelijksgeluk.)

It is a bit easier to write if you are already reaching number 9 of a series. Artists say that inspiration is 10 percent and work is 90 percent. I just work very hard. Book 9 is the book with quite a lot of solutions that have not been handled in the first 8 books. They are all inside my head. I am quite far with the writing of Novel 9 in the Regency Romantic Warriors series, but I lay it aside once in a while to take some distance from it in order not to forget anything and also to be certain that I keep it interesting enough

I am actually translating the 8 books out of the Regency Romantic Warriors Series in Dutch. I very recently published the 4th book out of this series (A Mercenary Major, The Bride) as Een Bruid voor de Majoor, part 1: de Bruid.
I am also writing the last book in the Regency Romantic Warriors series, Book 9 : Homecoming. It will probably be published as an e-book in Spring of 2015.
Ideas are born a long time before a book is published. I wrote some articles about Jesus Christ and got the inspiration for The Kings Daughter. I was inspired to start thinking and researching Nostradamus since 11 September 2001.
