Lori Ryan Hi! The original Evers stories are the same as some of the Heroes of Evers books, but they were sweeter versions. The Heroes versions are steamier. At the bottom of the blurb on each of the new books, I've stated whether it was previously published so readers can avoid purchasing them twice by mistake! This only affects books one and two in the series.

Lori Ryan The character in this book really told me her own story. Sometimes, you have to force a plot out. Other times, it just comes to you. This is a character who has been talking to me in my head for some time. Her story is hard to deal with, but it's moving.
Lori Ryan I am working on two books - the latest in my Sutton Capital Series (get the links to the series started free at www.loriryanromance.com if you want to read the first six books and get baught up!), and a new book in the Evers, TX series. That series will be re-released by a publisher this winter. Can't wait to get it to you guys!
Lori Ryan Great question! I either switch to another project for a bit, or I sit and daydream with purpose. What I mean by that is purposefully visualizing scenes with your characters. It might not even be a scene in the book. It can be something simple like figuring out what your character would order at Starbucks. Or what they would say to a friend in a certain situation. Just trying to envision your character's quirks and so on. If you don't know your characters if they aren't speaking to you, you get stuck.
Lori Ryan Lol not yet! Are you a Lori Ryan? Does knowing you on Goodreads count;)
Lori Ryan Getting to connect with readers. You guys are amazing and each one of you is so tremendously appreciated!
Lori Ryan Use a critique group and listen to them.
Talk to other authors and listen to them.
Use an editor for both content and proofing and listen to them.

Listen, listen, listen and write, write, write!
Lori Ryan When I was pregnant with my son, I couldn't do much at all for the last two months. So, I sat on the couch and read one to two romance novels a day. Eventually, ideas started to seep into my brain and characters began to talk to me. Rather than take medication for the condition, I began to write! Thanks to Bella Andre, I was able to gather a lot of info on self-publishing and hired an editor to go through my work, and the rest is history!
