I try to figure out _why_ I stop wanting to write - - usually it is because I go down a mental rabbit hole of cause-and-effect aspects of the world I hadn't yet plotted out. This fugue state, once I recognize it for what it is, is solved by either making a note to explore it later, or dismiss it, but always, ALWAYS get back to the writing. The only time I get writers block is in the post-partum days after finishing a project, and I'm trying to decide what to do next.
