Lorraine Loria The best thing about being a writer is encouraging or inspiring other people. It brings me a lot of joy to see children enjoy my work--it really is a privilege to write for kids.
Lorraine Loria I deal with writer's block by taking a break from a project. I may do something else I love--taking a walk or something else creative. Nature inspires me. I also pray and read inspirational books for awhile. Just remember to carve out a consistent time to get back to the writing and eventually you will break through.
Lorraine Loria I got the idea for writing, Wild About Manners from being a teacher of young children for many years. I wanted to reinforce prosocial behaviors in a funny and positive way.
