Benjamin Franklin wrote about this idea of editing your life within your autobiography. I think that is the best part of being a writer is telling the story on your own terms. There's nothing like disagreeing with someone and not having to really care about the other person's rebuttal. As Pontius Pilate said, "What I have written, I have written."

Keep your day job and have an organized schedule! Keep your day job to fund your dream of being an author because the money doesn't come right away. At some point that may get in the way of why you write which should be for the love of writing itself (or the love of a good story). If you can be comfortable in your writing you should be! Secondly, most writers will tell you there is no such thing as being organized as a writer. However, you need to know, at least, the basics of your routine. Then, you can map out the times to sneak away to write a juicy tidbit for your next bestseller!

Currently, I switched gears moving from writing to producing my second radio show, Love-N-Literature. I have two stories that I am developing, but for right now the radio show has been my primary focus along with my counseling career.
