I can't say I have ever had writers block. I have had days where the words refuse to flow, and times when I have read part of what I have written and deleted large chunks because it just isn't working, but a total block? I don't think that's happened (yet!).
I plan my stories, I know what pivotal scenes are in part 2 or 3 or 4, so I just have to get there. If I have a day where I can't get the words out, I go for a walk or a ride on my bike, or occasionally spend a few hours on the playstation and that seems to help!

I get to sit in front of a computer every day and make stuff up? To me, that's pretty fantastic!

I still see myself as aspiring, and I think I always will! As for advice, I can only reiterate what has been said to me - keep writing! Listen to feedback, accept constructive criticism, try to make every book or story better than the last, but most of all just keep writing.

The book I am working on now (X-Calibur: The Return) came to me in an almost complete form when I was sitting outside my daughter's school waiting for to finish. I don't know where it came from, it was just there, with characters and plot etc. I hope people like it!

That's difficult to answer. Most of the stories I have in my head have been there for years, and I don't remember where the idea came from. Benjamin Knight and his story came from a dream I had in about 1995, and I remember sitting for hours at the computer the next morning trying to get it all down before I forgot it.
Day to day, the inspiration comes from a need to get the story down in print, it keeps running around in my head until I do!
