Shehanne Moore The Night He left by Sue Lawrence cos it's set locally. Teaching Mr Leavis --Elaine Jeremiah, a lovely author, Haunting refrain, Ellis Viderl--must get that one finished, just been up to here on book releases. (Long story there.) And Thomas the Rhymer by Paul Andruss, another writer buddy. I love reading but recently it's been so hectic. However, on the good side? It's more goodies for the TBR pile.
Shehanne Moore I'm doing what I have always felt driven to do.
Shehanne Moore Lol, inspiration is all around, right there in the world. Places, people, objects even inspire me to write.
Shehanne Moore There is a quote out there about not knowing what it is bur fearing it. I just put something on the page regardless. The worst thing you can do is stare at a blank page. It doesn't matter if what you've put down is rubbish, the fact is it's there and you can deal with that rubbish later.
Shehanne Moore Keep going. We have all faced a pile of rejection. All you need is one yes to turn that round. But be sensible about what is selling and open to advice. Read tons in your genre, but reading sometimes isn't enough, so study the craft, study what you're reading as a writer rather than a reader.
Shehanne Moore Book 2 of the jewel thieves series. Splendor. She's not actually a thief, she's their maid of all work. A kind of Cinderella.
Shehanne Moore Lol, ideas just flash into my head. A sort of tiny image and I just need to develop it. In fact |I get no peace till I do. I know I am going to have to put pen to paper without a single clue about what is going to happen next.
