I think I have always had "The Medieval Tales" in my head some way or another. I've always loved medieval knights and adventures (dragons, Jerusalem)... I've always wanted to write a great knight tale with all the good and typical ingredients. Only they never worked quite right until instead of a damsel in distress I wrote down a knight in Jerusalem.
In addition to this, I've always wanted to discover and develop the differences and similarities between religions. With "The Medieval Tales" y managed that to a point.

Like for most writers my main inspiration comes from music. I usually don't mind the lyrics: it's the notes and the rhythm what inspires stories in my mind.

For the last six months or so I've been editing an old finished novel about an archaeological site in Egypt. I love it because it has a curse 5.000 years old that comes alive with the main characters.
