Lynn Kurland has many of my favourite couple, who work together and grow together during their endeavours. Miach and Morgan were probably voted as the least likely to succeed couple, but Lynn Kurland pulled them through. I like this couple as they remind me of my paternal grandparents - whose love and commitment I witnessed were legendary.

When I get stumped and don't want to work on a piece or can't get the words to flow as they normally do, I set it aside and write a fun short piece. Writing one, or six, short pieces generally gets me in the mood and able to carry on with what needs finishing. Sometimes the short pieces blend together and create a new book, or become an addition for another book in the "Children of Light" series, or become a book on its own, like my "Where The Wolf Has Been". Either way, I have enjoyed myself and feel like facing the hard part of the prior book.

Whether you write for you, or your family, or the whole world, enjoy your work and don't rush it. Don't be afraid to ask for honest and constructive criticism. Real caring readers will let you know where you need to add more detail and description, where well-meaning friends may be too considerate of your feelings and not give your work an honest remark, maybe letting you present to the world only half the book they could have savoured.

Having fun watching the words flow onto the page is one of the most enjoyable pass-times I have; other than playing with my children. Getting to share my little bits of eye-candy with others and getting to see the joy they bring is also exhilarating. Encouraging other writers and helping them solve some block or getting to point them to the next step is also really great.

Even before I published the "Their Glowing Path", I realized there was going to be a series of the "Children of Light" (a.k.a. Kae-Tea-Lynn and Andrew-A-Cuss Lamp-Holder. I tried to just carry on with book two, "Danger Zone, Again", but I felt there should be more said in "Their Glowing Path". So, I rewrote "Their Glowing Path", creating an ebook of the colour expanded edition. Now I'm finished that, while I consider a giveaway, I'm putting the finishing touches on book two, "Danger Zone, Again".

Mainly I'm inspired by my dreams, if they're nice ones. Otherwise, I read about scientific and archaeological finds and what the scientists surmise might have happened to make our world the way it is. Then, my imagination takes over and the words flow out.

Even before recent movies of flying, I had dreams of flying; being in a wheelchair can do that to a person! After the second or third time of flying in my dreams, the "Children of Light" books began to grow. My family is very important in my life, so the book centers around children and their relationships with adults. When I need to be more specific about a bad guy, I listen to the news to get fresh ideas. I seldom watch the news as I remember the pictures far too clearly and scares away my dreams of the Lamp-Holders young people.
