A couple of well known Hollywood producers have shown interest in the series for either a movie or a TV series. We'll just have to wait and see if anything comes of it.

Since The Rho Agenda is an ongoing series, there are two answers to this. First, I got the original idea for the series while my wife Carol and I were vacationing in Maui. I wanted to write a story that centered around a couple of badass special operatives who get sucked into an earth threatening intergalactic conflict because of the curiosity of three high school friends. I also wanted this story to be about the loss of innocence when young idealism meets the savage world in which they live. Second, I get my idea for each novel in the series by throwing out possible answers to the question ... "What else can go wrong?"

Writers block is typically just laziness. I just get my butt in the chair, jot down a handful of wild answers to the most important question a fiction author can ask ... What else can go wrong? Then I start describing what went wrong.

Hi Jessica. My military career certainly helps when I am writing combat scenes and by the fact that Carol and I lived all over the world. But I think anything you are familiar with can help. Regardless, it is necessary to double check things. Luckily Wikipedia, Google, and Google Earth are great helps in this regard.
