Mia Sheridan Hi! I'm a gemini. :) You know, I don't think I really considered that it was my own sign when I wrote Preston's Honor. I just tried to write the best story for the sign. <3
Mia Sheridan Hi there! Yes, it is inspired by Sagittarius (the Archer). ;) <3
Mia Sheridan Hello! I never say never, but at this point, I don't have any plans to re-visit his character. However, if a good story comes to me, I'd be willing to reconsider! :D

Mia Sheridan Hi! I've considered writing his story, but I'm not sure if I will. If a good story comes to me, that fits Travis's character, then I'd definitely be willing. ;) So we'll see! :D
Mia Sheridan Hi there! Thank you so much! <3 Typically, I write all the way through without reading back what I've written. Then I do a full re-read when I'm done and adjust where necessary. :) I find that if I go back and read, I get bogged down in adjusting rather than moving forward so I do like to finish one entire draft before going back in at all. :D
Mia Sheridan Hi Lisa! Thank you for the compliment! I've read a few books like the ones you're describing. It's sort of a complicated topic, because I do think romantic relationships in general can offer so much as far as personal growth, meaning they challenge you to figure out who you are, what you're willing to tolerate, and that losing yourself in another person will never bring true happiness. But love can often be a journey as you figure out what's right and what's not (in life and definitely in the NA genre) :D . . . but I'm with you in that I want to feel like the heroine held her own in the end and made choices for reasons of strength and personal dignity rather than just to "get the guy." Thank you for the question! There's so much to say surrounding this topic - I wish we could get together for coffee and chat for hours! :D
Mia Sheridan Hi Anna! :) I don't know that I have favorite characters of my own—they're like children, all special to me for different reasons. :D But if I HAD to pick, I'd say that Calder and Eden hold an extra special place in my heart. As far as other books . . . hmm . . . maybe Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. I could read that classic a hundred times over. <3
Mia Sheridan I force myself to write anyway. Many days I lack motivation, but I make myself sit down and write, even if I feel like it's slop. Sometimes it is and I have to go back and edit, but sometimes I surprise myself and the motivation comes once I begin.
Mia Sheridan The relationships I've formed with readers all across the globe, and feeling like my stories help people through tough situations, even if it's just a bad day. <3
Mia Sheridan Write every day, even if you don't feel like doing it. Sit down and write and move your story forward, even if only in increments. You can edit or re-arrange later. For now, just write! <3
Mia Sheridan Hi there! Sorry I'm so late in answering! I will go with what I'm working on now :D . . . I'm editing my 11th sign in the Sign of Love Collection (Capricorn). After that, I'll only have Pisces to do and the SOL Collection will be complete!! <3
Mia Sheridan Hi there! So sorry for the delay in response and thank you for your question! :) The truth is, I don't always feel inspired to write, but if I'm on a deadline, I force myself to do it anyway. :) Some days the writing is better than others, but I can always go back and edit. The goal is just to move the story forward each day, every day, no matter if I'm "feeling" it or not. And surprisingly, sometimes when I just sit down and get going, the words flow more easily than I expect! :D
Mia Sheridan Hi there! So sorry it's taken me so long to answer your question! I need to check in here more often. :) Let's see, 8 mo. ago I was writing Most of All You, I think (or in editing for that story). I actually got the inspiration for that book from a Bob Marley quote that I read on Facebook. It goes like this: “If she's amazing, she won't be easy. If she's easy, she won't be amazing. If she's worth it, you wont give up. If you give up, you're not worthy. ... Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.” Isn't that just . . . Wow?? I really started thinking about that quote and what type of man would be strong enough to love a woman who didn't know how to love herself, and the idea for Most of All You began forming. <3
Mia Sheridan Hi there! My plan (as of now) is to write stand alone romances after the Sign of Love collection is complete. :D And I will probably throw in a SOLstice novel or two down the line (which have a very small connection to a SOL story). I don't know that I will write about SOL side characters, but I never say never! If a story for one of them comes to me, I'm definitely not opposed. ;)
Mia Sheridan Thank you, Angela! What an amazing compliment! My most difficult to write was probably Becoming Calder/Finding Eden because I had to world build in addition to story writing. :D
Mia Sheridan Aw really??? That is so cool! I really just picked it because I read it on a name list and loved it! Actually, I originally spelled it Calin but my French beta told me that's actually a word in French (and now I can't remember what it means) so I changed the spelling. :D Thank you so much! I'm so glad you loved it!! <3 xo!
