Brian K. Larson It's hard to get reading time in when you're a writer. However, if I get a chance, I'll re-read Michael R. Hicks' book, First Contact. Awesome read.
Brian K. Larson My adventures in learning to fly in the early 90's. Had some pretty hair-raising experiences, like flying in a 40mph winds and tracking backward in slow flight.
Brian K. Larson Listening to Pink Floyd and Rush are what I write too. Depending on the scene, I'll choose a fast paced for action. I tend to get into the groove around 1pm and can knock out an entire chapter in an afternoon. What takes me the longest time is the editing and making revisions.
Brian K. Larson I am currently working on the second installment for Salvage-5 - The Next Mission is sure to tantalize the reader with the advanced technology and suspense for this next book in the series.

I am on schedule to complete The Next Mission by the close of July and will begin book 2 in the sister series, A.M.P. (amplified mental projection) Phase 2:The Vanguard...the first book, Phase 1: The Gamma Project was released two weeks ago and is gaining momentum.

These two series are unique in that I have characters that cross over between both sets of books.

Brian K. Larson In my latest book franchise, Salvage-5, the crew is sent out to discover why the CSMO (Complete Self-Contained Mining Operation), when silent. On this year, 2064, Earth's resources are dwindling so the need to venture out to mine the asteroid field for resources becomes common. The technology is believable in this story because I've kept it as realistic as I possible.

I do think man will venture out to mine the asteroids.
Brian K. Larson My dream as a writer is that I spark the imaginations of those who read my work. I've wanted to be a full time author for over three years now, and I am living my dream.
Brian K. Larson For my recent book projects, Salvage-5 and AMP (Amplified Mental Projection), I saw a post on i09 which talked about real technology that's used as a chip implant to allow paraplegics to move objects with their mind. They can actually interface with a robotic arm.

I thought this was a great concept and so Salvage-5 was born, which then led to AMP as a spinoff for S-5, but the technology is harvested from a Salvage mission at Asteroid 15 Eunomia .
