Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

R.L. Dodson I have to go all the way back to a classic from 1941 to answer this question. There are many more but my favorite couple would have to be Rick Blaine and Ilsa Lund - Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca. It is a timeless tale of war, love and sacrifice. The hero makes the ultimate sacrifice for the greater good... his devotion to freedom and country came first. It doesn't get any better than the scene where Sam the pianist plays, "As Time Goes By"

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.L. Dodson Biography of a retired sheriff of 28 years whom I have much respect. Currently a work in progress...

R.L. Dodson Currently working a little out of my comfortable genre of romantic suspense as I have been working on a biography for a little over a year now.

Hi! where in Southern Alabama did you grow up? I grew up on Ft. Rucker just outside of Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville (close to Dothan). I'm a Northern ExPat though. Born in PA, all my family lives in PA. But an Army girl goes where her parents are stationed. We just happened to get stationed on Ft. Rucker over and over again.
