With The Adventures of Possum Pyder (A children's picture book) I wondered what a sugar glider would do if it was afraid of flying? I wrote the story and left it for a few months, then decided it was time to get it out. So I put out a call for an illustrator, and a very talented friend, Lex Hooper, asked if she could help me with the illustrations for the book. What we have, is a beautifully illustrated book, and i already have people asking for framed copies of the illustrations!

My Muse often gives me an idea (She's real, just lives inside my head, living on chocolate and tea. Sometimes I'll dream a story (Like with Scarlett Blade, which is getting a revision and rewrite) or I'll just let my mind wander and something will hit me.

I've got several projects going on ranging from a new children's picture book, to a fantasy novel and a romance/erotica under Scarlett J Rose. I'm hoping to have them out very soon as I have a lot more that are starting to bang the door down in my head, wanting to be written.

JUST DO IT!
Well, there's actually a bit more to it than just getting a story down and writing those magical words 'The End' there's editing, organising beta readers (Those re REALLY important - just as important as the Editor!) Marketing. It's not easy being an indie author, but at the end of it, it IS worth it.

Creating new worlds, stories want to be created and shared with the world out there. I just want to share those stories and worlds with readers everywhere.

Usually I try to give myself a little time, play a game on the Xbox (Fallout 4 is my fave at the moment!) then if the Muse is willing, I might break the block!
