The idea for 'The Phoenix' came from a story I read on the internet. A report about a former federal agent whose family was murdered and the alleged coverup that ensued. I wouldn't say 'The Phoenix' was based on a true story, but that was the inspiration.

My brother and co-writer Joseph and I just published our new novel 'The Phoenix: Resurrection." It took us eight years to bring the story to fruition. Maybe it's time for a week off or so! Then we will dive into something else I am sure.
